Reading of the Declaration of Independence

On July 8, 2026, Americans across the nation will read the Declaration of Independence together, commemorating the 250th anniversary of its first public reading. The reading in St. Charles will be at 5 p.m. at the St. Charles Historical Society, 101 S. Main St., St. Charles, MO.
